NeurAxon, Inc. Announces Two Presentations at
BIO International Convention May 19, 2009

 

-Corporate Presentation and CNS Panel Session in Translational Medicine Track–

WALTHAM, MA. May 12, 2009 – NeurAxon, Inc. is pleased to announce the participation of Lawrence Bloch, M.D., J.D., the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and John S. Andrews, Ph.D., the Company’s President and Head of Research and Development at the upcoming Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) International Convention, being held May 18- May 21, 2009 in Atlanta, GA.

As part of the BIO-Partnering Forum, Dr. Bloch will provide an overview of NeurAxon and its portfolio of internally generated, novel, proprietary pain therapeutics, including its lead product candidate, NXN-188, an oral, first-in-class, selective nNOS inhibitor and 5HT agonist which is currently in development for acute migraine.

Company presentation details: Tuesday, May 19th 2009 at 10:20am Eastern Time in room A312 at the Georgia World Congress Center (Building A).

Additionally, Dr. Andrews will participate in a panel discussion on translating exciting bench science into promising drug candidates. The session, Translating Promising Science to CNS Treatments,” will feature NeurAxon and several other companies who have undertaken translational development programs that have yielded CNS product candidates addressing major unserved and underserved medical needs.

CNS panel session details: Tuesday, May 19th from 4:00pm to 5:30pm Eastern Time in room B405 at the Georgia World Congress Center (Building B).
